We're all geeks here, right? So we know in Back To The Future II, Marty McFly travels thirty years into the future.
From our point of view, that's next Wednesday (21 October 2015).

I've got Back To To Future playing now, and will play II tomorrow (on the day he travels to*) and III on Thursday.

* I'm on the other side of the international dateline from most of you; it'll be two days for you guys.

The problem with the future is, it keeps turning into the present.

I love that Calvin Kline quote!

(I do realize it wasn't Calvin Kline, I am continuing the BotF references!) :D

:) Actually, the other day when I was watching the movie and Marty woke up with scruffy hair, in a red t-shirt, and Lorraine started calling him Calvin, I couldn't help looking for a tiger...

Speaking of that... (though this is going to further side track the thread...)

We were playing HeadsUp (a game, where you put your phone on your forehead and words, people, places, depending on what the theme is - appear - and you try to guess).

And my friend's daughter, who is like 16 years old, picked "Fictional Characters" - and Hobbes came up, and I said, "Calvin and..." And she couldn't guess it... and when the game was over, she was like, "Who is Hobbes?"

My heart literally broke that there's a generation now who does not know Calvin and Hobbes.

That is absolutely tragic.

As always, Cubs fans have to face reality that BTTF was pure fiction and Cubs will never win the World Series.

Me too! I've been rereading it lately, which is why it was on my mind when I was watching BTTF the other day.

I'm still surprised that I'm nearly halfway through, and haven't seen either calvinball or the killer bicycle yet. (Though both have been set up.)

I need to re-read these... I have it and the Farside one as well.

:) Again, me too. I also have a Dilbert one, but that's obviously not as comprehensive.
(I was thinking of rereading The Far Side after C & H.)
