Mac's hometown

On both Marvel.com and marvel wiki, Guardians hometown is listed as London, Ontario. Does anybody know if and where this factoid is brought up in the comics themselves because I sure don't. In fact, the proprietor of one of the local comics claimed that in fact Mac is not from London Ontario, but rather one of the small towns outlying London such as St. Thomas, Woodstock, Lambeth, etc. but again he could not point me in the direction of where he found this information.

It also may never have been published, but when the character was originally drafted up, it could have been mentioned there.

I know, for example, that Thunderbird (of UXM) never had his POB stated, nor Nightcrawler (back in the day), but both were stated in the MU Handbooks.

The ones know are Puck 1 aka Eugene Judd is from Saskatoon Saskatchewan, Vindicator, Shaman, and Talisman are all from Calgary, Alberta, Sasquatch is from vancover, British Columbia, I believe Aurora and Northstar are from Montreal, Windshear, Major Maple Leaf are from Toronto, and Persuasion is from the Toronto suburb of Etiobocke

It sounds kinda like 'k-yan BERR uh'. (You can hear it on the musical version of War Of The Worlds, and one of the last episodes of Star Trek: Enterprise.)
If you live here, you kinda just say 'kambruh'.
