What is everyone's opinion on Steve Searle's run? I thought it was pretty good!

So - I think the context of the story was all right. Had a lot of unique things to it. And clearly tried to make a lot of ties to existing lore (with characters supposedly related to Wolverine, Unus the Untouchable) - however, Murmur was impossible to enjoy. And not even from a character you enjoy disliking - but simply, poorly written and developed. And I wasn't a fan of the artistic style of that run, which made it even a little more difficult to endure.

My favourite run is John Byrne's; I prefer a more realistic art style, with brighter colouring, than was found on Seagle's run.

But I like to see a fan of any run joining our crew.

Agree - to me, it was Byrne - but I was introduced to AF as one of my first comics (UXM121) - so I am very partial to them.
But as Le Messor said - any fan who enjoys any run - is a welcomed addition. There is no wrong when enjoying what you enjoy in comics!
