He is becoming a fountain of knowledge is old Derek...

It's somthing to do with pulling the comic out the cupboard really, but fountain of knowledge seems so much better :-)

You keep your comics in a cupboard?

Ben
03-20-2004, 07:58 PM
you know those crazy brits, they keep EVERYTHING in the cupboard! Just look at Harry Potter!

Phil

Yup, two cupboards actually, one for discontinued or limited series and one for ongoing series. TPB's are kept on top of a unit in another part of the room.

If Ben ever came to Britain, we would most likely keep him in a cupboard and only take him out late at night.

Ummmm, I keep my comic books in a cubby hole at the top of the stairs, but I guess it is basically a glorified cupboard... maybe it is a brit thing...

Oh and don't even joke about putting Ben in a cupboard - remember the effect this sort of thing had on Jeanne-Marie/Aurora?

Ben

Don't make me put words in your mouth again! And don't make me split this topic off into "General Discussion" ;)

You mean Ben could develop two personalities, one a utter slapper and the other a stern school marm type, might be worth putting him in the cupboard, just to see the effect. Then again, Harry Potter is not a slapper and he lives in a cupboard ?

Well, who knows what Harry Potter gets up to in his spare time... but let's move swiftly on as that thought is rather disturbing...

Thats in reference to the 'Naughty Words' thread. However, from all accounts, if you look at Ben in a certain light, he does have the lips of an 18 year girl, and she says he's getting them all wrinkly and can she have them back. :D :D

If there were justice in this world people like you wouldn't be allowed to go near an Ikea store!!!!

Could you please keep this kind of thing to the privacy of your own home and not bring it on here where you might sully innocent young minds, let us get back to wholesome discussions like which member of Alpha Flight we'd most like to cover in maple syrup and lick off... *ahem*

Err... wait... that came out wrong...
Don't fret it Phil, it's not the first time it's come out wrong, but a couple of lolly sticks and sellotape should correct that.

Plus, whats wrong with having a thing about a Georgian dresser, Donny Osmond even sang about it.

'And they called it cupboard love,
Oh I guess they'll never know,
How mahogany really feels,
and just why I love it so,

'I cry each night... All together now
'My tears for you

Using Donny Osmond as a reference really isn't a good thing, lol.

You leave Donny alone, he was great in the video release of 'Joseph and his Amazing Technicolor Pancake' (or whatever that was, oh and he wore a loin cloth, which could appeal to some, now if only he would stand next to a wardrobe in a loin cloth. Something for everyone). :P

HappyCanuck
03-29-2004, 12:49 PM
LOL, okay, completely off topic (like pretty much everything else in this thread), but you just made me realise something kinda odd... In 'Technicolour Dreamcoat', Donny played Joseph, who became an advisor to the Pharoah of Egypt... now Donny's the host on 'Pyramid' (the remake of the old 70's - 80's '$10,000 Pyramid' with Dick Clark, who's as old as the pyramids!)

Dick Clarke once wore a loin cloth. Re Donny, he lived on the Morning Side of the Mountain, which was probably good experience for designing Pyramids.

The Womans sleep was disturbed by the creaking of the CUPBOARD door. Through the transperency of her sheet, she could see a bald head appear from out of the CUPBOARD. "Eh" a squeeky,'Repo Man', type of voice rang out across the darkness of the bedroom, it had a magical tone which immediately set her body a tingling. "Eh!!, right back at you" she said, as her knicker elastic mysteriously perished.
