Seeing as we're just over a month shy of the fabled day of spooks and stuff...whose doing what? if anything?

I'm going to be selling manga at an anime convention that weekend and then hitting the Castro on Halloween night...The Castro being the part of San Franfrisky that makes it such a wonderful haven for gays.

I am also punching my ticket to hell and upgrading from basket to bullet train with my costume. =p And it's a group ensemble now...there has been an addition...

yes Phil, there will be pictures

I'd be hard pressed to beat my costume from last year :

But I did look pretty cool dressed up for the funk party last month:

I'll have to give this year some serious thought.

But from what I've heard of yer costume Jo....naugty girl! Looking forward to seeing it, should be a hoot.

Me and the lady will be spending the weekend in one of Gettysburg PA's most haunted rooms.

The 3rd floor "attic" of the Gettysburg Hotel's Guest House.

Eerie, scary, and caffeine fueled, staying up all night with camera close at hand kinda fun.

Ooooooooooo! I've heard of that place! I love stuff like that!

I got one for ya over here...exactly 4 miles from my house even. It's called the Banta Inn. I used to work there as a barkeep/cooks assistant. We would get guests from all over the place checking to see if one of the ghosts would show up in the dining room.

I even had a run in with one of them...several times now that I think of it. The freakiest one was when I was finishing up in the dining room, putting the silverware away. It got cold and I got the feeling on my leg, like a little kid clamping on in fear. I had been there long enough to know of the little girl who haunts the place and just told her it would be alright. It warmed up again and the pressure left my leg. No...ghosts don't bother me...it's the living I have trouble with. ;)

Now see thats a great story! Awesome!

We actually stayed in the room 2 years ago not knowing of the rooms history. We took a ghost tour that night in town and they talked about a room at the hotel. We nearly crapped ourselves. We raised our hand saying we were staying in it and the next thing I knew we had 6 people following us back to our room to check it out. I'll try and post some pics of the room. The place is freaky looking.

This Halloween? Hmmm...not sure. But it has been a long time since I dressed up for Halloween. Last time I dressed as a Original Trek series woman with the red mini-skirt, 60's style wig and all the make-up. I had fun. Took me 2 1/2 hours to do the make-up. Was asked by several men to dance. Even by one that just wore a G-string. heh... :D

Tell me you were at the Hilton at the Star Trek Experience wearing that! That is really well done mate! I have been to a few conventions and I rarely see GOOD costumes.

One halloween a few years back my girlfriend and I revered roles. I was the woman, and she was the man...got confusing after the party....

No. Not at the Hilton. I'd put some of them to shame! :P

I wore this at the Christopher Street parade in West Hollywood, California. The masses that swarm there each year are incredible. I stopped going because it got way too crowded. And a little more dangerous too.

As for role reversal I always believe why go as just a woman when the effect would be so much better if I went as the opposite sex and in a Halloween costume. It would keep them busy thinking if I'm a real woman or not. The attention is nice. :)

LOLOL @ the Hilton comment.

I agree with the role reversal too. I have stories! But Ben want's thing PG or nicer here so I'll be good.
