I just remembered who I couldn't stand more than Wyre in the history of AF.

What a pathetic character. That write up was hilarious.

Rok has the appearance of a a large, fat grey statue, but apparently none of the durability. Wild Child was able to badly scar his face and chest with his bare claws. He seems to be extremly strong, but I may just be misjudging him by his appearance, he prefers using children to fight his battles for him, and will only attack a distracted or (seemingly) helpless enemy

I couldn't have written it better myself.

I agree with you about Rok, PWalk. However, I think we should see more of the Children of the Night.

I thought the Children of the Night had alot of potential. Here's this elite group of kid assassins that can kick ass. With Nemesis at the helm you gotta think there'd some form of mystical battle going on somewhere in the sewers of Canada with the Children vs. a demon of some sort.

I'd buy it.

Actually, almost everyone in AF's rogue's gallery had potential (well, minus a few - some where just lame). CotN, Deadly Ernest, several characters from the most recent edition of Omega Flight (not including the Master. he's already proven how interesting he could be). Okay, most of them don't have the presence to be on par with the Master, the Great Beasts, Pestilence or even Llan all, but they had potential to be on the level with some of the more classic second-tier villians, alongside Gilded Lily, Mesmero, Diablo and the ilk. Also, imho, Witchfire had the potential to be a good villian - providing she decided to follow in Daddy Dearest's shoes. AF 124 showed this.

I'd like to see the Weapon X program, led by Maddison Jeffereies become a major foe. As whacked as his mind appears to be now he'd make a great villain, potentially first tier with his raw power.

What more, considering his past affiliations and relations with most of the original Alpha Flight, would make him one hell of a villian, since he knows them - especially Heather - quite well. He knows how they fight, how they think, he knows how to hurt them. Since Madison's kidnapping at the hands of Zodiac, I knew he'd be their best villian. He could do something no other, not even General Clark and Department H could: make them hesitate, since he was their friend, and everyone knows, in a fire fight, you DON'T hesitate, because that will get you killed.

Of course, Delphine, being a robot, never tried to recruit him. I wonder if he would've joined, ever?

Probably not. The Influencer only heightened existing negative feelings, it didn't implant them. As far as I recall Madison didn't have anything against Hudson like the others.

Madison didn't become a fruit-loop until his 'induction' into the Zodiac, and WX played with that. If Madison could finally break through his brainwashing, he'd prolly revert to a more somber if not dedicated version of his old self. However, at the same time, I kinda hope he doesn't. Madison is such an intriguing character, I think he would be a good villian, on par with the Master and DreamQueen, except more so, since he IS tied to Alpha.

Well, technically he is a villain right now having helped build and operate Neverland.

Madison is one of those AF characters who has immense power and could be an extremely dangerous foe (good or bad) yet never ends up being that. I wish Marvel would put him into an ongoing series so that we can see him on a regular basis.

in my tunnel-visioned eyes, Maddie isn't a villian. He's a mixed up individual who's been duped and abused too many times. He's got the making of a good villian, but isn't there yet, until he can find an antithesis to himself - preferably in AF, but with anyone would do.

Agreed, which is why I said "technically" he's a bad guy. He did help to imprison mutants unlawfully but was not in his right mind when he did it.

I dunno... He changed from a friendly, down-to-Earth, blue-collar type to being sulky and withdrawn for no reason. How stable can he be?
