The sad thing is...it was spot on about the book. I have to agree...That's why it failed. Poorly written, badly paced and badly executed. I know plenty about the history of Alpha...and I found this series offensive to me(as a fan of AF)...there I've said it.
"William Chambers proves to me that I'm not insane for disliking this book when he describes it as full of "poorly written clichés about Canada [and] characters I hated (not bad art, but I read comics for the writing - for the most part). This was just a poorly conceived series. I never read the original ALPHA FLIGHT, but I knew enough of their history to know that the new series is crap." As someone who did read the original series when it was first released, William, let me put your doubts to rest – it's crap, all right."

Sorry the link doesn't work. ](*,)
Maybe Mr. Joe Quesada will FINALLY get the hint (and a smack up side the head) that if ALPHA FLIGHT is going to be a sucessful series, it needs the ORIGINALS back.
