Oh man you guys are awesome. Thanks so much. I decided to name her after both of her grandmothers, who were named Louise and Rose. I thought Louise was old-fashioned so I switched it to Alethea Rose. Alethea is pronounced with the accent on the 2nd syllable and you say the 2nd syllable like "lay". It means "truth" in Greek.

So, sorry, no "Aurora". I think if she were flying around the house at super-speed I wouldn't be so happy anyway. But when she does manifest her mutant powers, she will definitely get a code name like all the other superheroes. We'll have a poll or something to decide what code name to give her.

She has not read any Alpha Flight yet, but we did read Exiles #69 together. When she's not sleeping or eating or burping, I like to relate the history of AF to her. So far, I'm up to the part where Heather first dons the EM suit.

i don't have any kids, but when my close friend had his daughter, (allmost five years ago by now), his life changed soo much. for the better that is, and being there , as his friend, some of the changes in his life rubbed off on me and made my life better. you know, i started making better choices, smarter decisions about my life and so on.
i don't envy the long nights and stress in store for you, but you won't care, you'll be too happy! \:D/
