Can I get scans of:
UNCANNY XMEN 109-Guardian beating Wolverine
[HAVE]
Uncanny X-Men #120, where Sasquatch lifts up the plan and if possible where he drags the ship [I think it was Hulk Annual#8].
[HAVE]
Plus the issue where Northstar gave the hulk a flurry of punches and he actually felt it.
[HAVE]
New Requests:
Uncanny X-Men #120-Shaman creating a storm not even Storm could control
Uncanny X-Men #120-Sasquatch beating Wolverine by throwing him through walls. It was his first apperance as well.
Uncanny X-Men #120-121- Alpha Flight beating the X-men
Uncanny X-Men #121- Shaman's out of control weather spell
[don't know the issue] -Apparently Guardian had a rematch with Wolverine and beat him again. Probally the same issue where he and Heather revealed she was pregnate and Wolverine was shown wearing the Guardian suit.
Sorry about this, but any help would be appreicated.

You sir are my hero. Thanks a bundle, but was the ship an oceanliner or just a regular ship?
Here's one scan of Guardian beating Wolverine

If anyone has impressive wins or feats of strength scans that would be great. I'm using this for other board debates on ones who don't know anything about ALpha Flight and they think they are a joke.

How about Sas punting a streetcar into some alien invaders?

You can't get more impressive than taking out Galactus single handedly!

I know the rest, and I'd suggest Birdie beating up Wendy in wolvie form in X-Menny #140, and Alpha beating the X-Men in #121...
... But what's this about Northstar punching the Hulk? I don't remember such a scene? There's one where he knocks out Sabes, that scan's available on another thread.

Great stuff, I forgot about Sas punting the streetcar.
Yeah Guardian is awesome, truely underated
EDIT: what were the exact issues, so I can read them again.
Thanks again man.

Here is the only scan I've got form AF, It's in X-men when Wolverine and Nightcrawler goes to see AF and find them tracking Wendigo. Here, I think is a nice moment for Snowbird. And it's the french version.

Thanks also for the scans many of them, I've never seen before

Ah, yes, that's the one.
Does any of that make sense in French? Looks like a word-for-word translation to me, and I'm wondering if they got idioms and stuff wrong. "Jeter un sort" for example; do you say that? "La veritable chose"? (We say 'the real thing', but is that en expression for you?)

Did not ever recognize you talked of it before me:)

Well, I never said it was the best translation ever. In some places, I don't find it so good but in others I like it better than what I would have had if done by the French (made in Québec) like most of the characters keep their original english names and they know the translation for Wolverine is a Carcajou which is why I've got this page scanned
"Jeter un sort" for example; do you say that?
yes we do and it's totally the right way to say it.
"La veritable chose"? (We say 'the real thing', but is that en expression for you?)
no, not really and that's why it sound strange but at the same time it's very hard to translate that part since they got to explain that Wolverine is the english name of the animal Snowbird took the form and I don't see must expression that can say the same thinks than in english

Did she? I don't remember her ever doing that, but there's a familiarity, but my brain's a fuzz...
I know she didn't do Wendigo in -that- issue.
The line I'm thinking of is: 'Though you are not a native of Canada, the amalgamation of you and the beast is. Thus, let a technicality be your undoing!'
But, that's her first transformation to White Sasquatch, not Wendigo.

The only time I recall Snowbird becoming a Wendigo was in Wolverine # 172?(Frank Tieri was writing), When He and Alpha Flight were fighting Mauvais(who had become a Wendigo, himself) in the arctic.

I have the story as a four part mini but I think it was also printed as Vol. 1 Issues 97 - 100. The streetcar was in #99 and Galactus was in #100.

If Alpha Flight is written to what they can actually do, they are definietly one of the strongest teams in the MU.

Yeah it's a shame and Tanaraq only lasted for 2 issues..gah! He was so badass :D
Yeah at the other board I convinced many that Alpha Flight are contenders :). Some thought at first Wolverine could take Alpha Flight by himself..... However, I really don't have feats to post for Talisman, Windshear, Feedback or the other stronger members in AF who don't get enough respect.

I'm beginning to think that the Exiles' creative team somehow snuck a mostly decent depiction of Tanaraq by TPTB because rarely (and by 'rarely' I mean Mantlo) have The Great Beasts been portrayed as the 1st tier mystical beings that they are like Tanaraq is in Exiles.
I still don't see how a 3rd generation baby demi-god [high-jacked by a mere mortal] could possibly control (six out of) seven Great Beasts! Just doesn't make sense to me. Pestilence should have received an even ruder reception than Zaratos/Malthatos/whoever.
And I agree that Walter's been getting short-shrifted for years.
King Mungi, the Wolverine/Weapon Alpha pic was originally in UXM# 109. James' reflexes were quick enough to get his shield up in time to protect him, meaning (I infer) that James must have learned something from getting ripped open during the training exercise from AFV2# 1 (and signing a cloning release form under extreme duress with Gary Cody in attendance!).
