Can anybody tell me where that big listing of Alpha Flight appearances with "minor" and "major" designations is? I forgot and can't find it.

Thank you so much for the kind words. I just recently changed the site to be easier to use. Now instead of having to download every single entry in the database, it is broken up alphabetically. So if you click on a title that starts with say, "C" it loads a page with only the "C" entries. It runs a lot faster this way and is more convenient. If you still want to download every single entry, you can click "All" from the home page and the long big listing will still load.

The one complaint, well complaint's a strong word, I have with the site, is that although on the index page you an updated list of how many issues you have, there's no way of seeing what those newly added issues are, so a returning viewer can't see what's recently been added without going through the whole list and trying to work it out.
Maybe a view by date added format, or just an updates list?
Just my reasoning, like, no offence meant.

HA! Complaints are not only allowed, they are also highly encouraged.
I'll add a little section for "recently added" entries. The kicker is that I hand-code all the html in Notepad because I'm sort of a web-spaz and don't have any fancy programming SKILZ to make a nice database. It just looks that way.

Heh, I just don't have the time or the patience to create anything anymore, it's why I added the appearances section in the forum, which I still struggle to update regularly.

Well, I'll be happy to take over the appearances updates on this site to relieve you of the burden.

Yeah, OK I put up a list of recently added issues for you. I also have them archived by date on the "News" page should you miss an update. So far I have had only 1 update since you asked me to do this. I also put up a short list of known upcoming appearances.
I still expect you to complain. ;)

Thank you :P
And whilst not a complaint, the Gambit & the X-Ternals appearance you've listed is only in the 2nd printing X-Tra Edition (and the same with all the #1 2nd prints), not the first printing.

So you're saying that the same Wild Child pin-up can be found in all of the AoA titles #1 issues with 2nd printing? Or do you mean that the pin-up can only be found in the Gambit and the X-Ternals #1 (2nd printing)a and not the 1st printing? I'm not sure I understand what you mean.

rplass
All the #1 2nd printings, none of the #1 first printings.

Not a complaint, but a comment
X-Men Unlimited #14
James was never resurrected by Archangle, his healing blood healed him but didn't bring him back from death. Basically when James got attacked by surpize it was Shaman who asked the air to feed him and hold him in statis. The air agreeded, and Shaman's ancestors have watched over James until AF could arrive. Then they did all they could to help me and placed him in that other exo suit. He collaspes and Archangel saves him by giving him his blood. I don't think he died there.
Good issue, except I was upset Dr. Jiroult punked James. Nice to see a issue all about Alpha Flight.

Wow, it sure was nice of them to help you.
I re-read that issue and still think that Mac died after the 2nd blast. I believe he was still alive, barely, when the air agreed to keep him in stasis. But after Jiroult's 2nd attack and that schmaltzy "here's your new baby, now you can die" scene, he really died. Heather would not have had that reaction if he was just really weakened.
Besides, Mac is incredibly good at dying, and just as good at getting himself resurrected.

Quite you! :( You knew what I meant
I don't, since the very last page it says
James: "I thought I was dead"
Shaman: "so did we, believe me"
Walter: "and well you should be. But thanks to Warren, the X-Men's Angel, and his newly-developed healing abilities--"
Angel hasn't shown to have the power to bring back someone from death with his blood, just to heal. Heather was screaming since she actually thought he died, but Angel saved him.
Good lord yes, but he has a lot of calls where people "thought" he died and then something wacky happens to him (becoming an android, servant of the Master). I think it's just one of those times with one of those close calls.

Another comment:
Here is Marrina on the cover of Namor #49 basically it's a dream sequence. I'm just mentioning it since I didn't see it on your site.

Your site has really helped me pick up some back orders that were great and I would not have known to get them.

Namor really has the worst luck with women doesn't he? Sue's married to Reed, Dorma's dead, Marrina's dead and his girlfriend from the Tsunami series is probably dead or a wrinkly old woman.

Yeah he does have bad luck, but technically Marrina is still alive just in a coma under the Master's care.

Thanks King_Mungi, I'll add the issue to the index. I never knew about that one. Great catch! Oh, and here's a picture of Marrina, from the Avengers vol.3 #47, published in Dec of 2001:

That's all we know; it's been 4 years since we've seen her in continuity.

The Omega Flight thingy this week brought me back to my old Alpha Flight obsessed self. After the baby, and moving to a new place last summer, I quit updating my little website for a while. But I had some time this weekend and lots of coffee and lots of excitement about OF, so I added most all of the 2006 and 2007 appearances to my little website. I hope you like it.
I added the Howling Commandos thing. Heh, just for kicks, since it's so bizarre.
Oh, and now I have over 400 issues indexed, not bad. The host was blocking my site for a while because I uploaded too many files, something like that, but it should be OK soon.

*edit* DOH! After looking I just realized I was asking a question about a discussion from page one, sorry folks, I need coffee!
Edit 2: please ignore me, as I wake up I realize that the question I asked was all fouled up. Sorry!
