:-k I posted this so that we could discuss Wyre without messing up other people's messages and polls  Sorry guys.

Does anyone know if Wyre has a healing factor, he recovered pretty quickly from being clawed by Wildheart, but he has large scars on his face, apparently burns (Which I assume he suffered when he destroyed the Secret Empire complex)...

I thought perhaps his healing factor might not work on burns. When Sabertooth was fried by Sunfire, he was reduced to a charred skeleton, but re-formed completely shortly thereafter. I think Creed's some kind of immortal anyways, probably sold his soul to Mephisto or Satannish for eternal life...

I think Wyre always looked like that (scars/burns) even when he worked for the Secret Empire. I assume that it is a byproduct of his mutation which may be why Wildchild would also look like he got the once over with the ugly stick when first introduced, having recieved DNA from Wyre.

As far as Sabertooth goes his healing factor got a boost from the adamantium bonded to his bones, which is completely opposite to Wolverine even though they share a similar power. :? This is why he can survive such overwhelming damage now.

His adamantium increased his healing factor?
Maybe that's just what they want us to think.. :-$ 8-[ I'm sure the Devil's involved somehow, maybe he made the deal during "Inferno". It's all a massive cover-up by the Marvel Big-Wigs, who are waiting to spring it on us when sales drop to stir up interest. Just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get me...

Man, Madison is supposed to be 6'1" and Lil 6'4", but look at Byrne's pic of her. Compared to Jeffries she must be a good 8' ... maybe minus a couple of incehs cause she is slightly in the background!

Also, I was checking out Lil's stats and at 6'4" she's only 165 lbs?! She looks like she has a fairly muscular and solid build to her, and muscle weighs more than fat, so I would place her at more around 180 lbs at least ... given her height.

My wife is 6' and still fairly slender (after two kids) at 165 lbs, so ...

Has Wyre appeared since Alpha Flight 130?

It's hard finding an up to date bio for Wyre, but to my knowledge he hasn't appeared since Alpha vol 1.

I haven't heard a thing about him since Alpha split up in Alpha Flight I #130 :(
He's lost in comic book limbo, hangin' with Shinobi Shaw, Llyron and Elvis...

Yeah, I noticed the sizes too, 8' feet? That's the length of the average Brood Warrior... Kyle is about 5'6" as Wildchild and weighs around 155 pounds (All lean muscle). The OHOTMU: Master's Edition lists Wildheart as 5'8", 135 Lbs, but there's no way that could be true, he's small, but built like a...well...like a comic book superhero.... I'm 5'6" and about 136 lbs...(None of it muscle)

Hehehehehe ... Darc_Light doesn't like the Brood at all, does he? :)

I'm 5'11" and about 150 lbs, and I've got a good, solid build. Alot of the weight that I lack comes from my legs, which are long and skinny muscled by genetics. If I'm in a loose shirt or a sweater I look pretty scrawny, but my upper bodies well developed overall, and I have narrow, but well-muscled shoulders, traps, and bicepts, so there's quite a contrast in how my own build appears depending on what I'm wearing. The big shoulders definitely make for an illusion of more mass.

Nevertheless, I've always thought Wildchild looked about the size of my older brother whose also 5'11" with a mostly similar building, but at around 165 -170 lbs.

Anyway, its hard sometimes to estiamte weights as differnt people carry their weight ... different. I'd say that, at 5'6" around 150 would probably be more accurate ... thogh some of his post-Wildchild pictures made him look, like, 170+ at that height. Eek!

Yes, Kyle, during his fight with Wyre, in the forest, looked too bulky to even run! I posted the picture under Assotred Alpha Pics...

Wyre was always one of those characters I wish I knew more about. There not THAT much backstory on this guy, he's pretty much a blank slate. With his Assassin/Mercenary training and his mutant abilities he has potential to be a decent character given the right story.

I'd like to see him pop up again.

So would I, but they'd probably just bring him back to kill him off in one issue the way Marvel's goin' now... :(

Evidently, Wolverine's healing factor also got supersized recently. 'Cause Nitro blasted him down to his gleaming metal skeleton, and Logan regenerated in a hurry. Like, fast enough to hit Nitro before he got into his truck.

Yep.

It's official.

Civil War is the purest madness.
