I've been casting around for the original series for quite a while now, and just might have stumbled on a real steal. If the deal goes through as proposed I'll land the entire first series of Alpha Flight for approximately $1.25 CAD per issue. (Yes that includes the shipping!) :o I'm waiting to hear if it will include the annuals and special as well, but even if not...hot damn that's a good deal in my books.

So uh...yeah. I'm excited. :D

About a year ago thanks to this forum I scored a complete collection of Vols 1 & 2 for a little over $50 US on Ebay. I read both series in a little over a month. Your going to enjoy it.

Well that's about 1/3 of what I'm gonna end up paying, and for more comics! But I think it's still about half of what the price guides list it at. You definitely got a better deal than me, but I guess I can't complain too loudly! I won't have a chance to read them until this summer though. I didn't want to ship them over here and then turn around to pay shipping back to Canada again. :?
