View Full Version : Itty itty-bitty barely-there Alpha bit in Ms. Marvel #1

In one scene where Ms. Marvel is visiting her publicist (who has repped bunches of heroes and celebrities), on the wall there are a bunch of framed covers. Mostly mock magazine covers like Time, but there's the odd comic cover, including Alpha Flight #3. I think it's 3 anyway, the one with Aurora and all the little metal rods everywhere.

I love that cover.

hey bill, you can upload it into the Photo Album, otherwise I'll get to it later today if no one beats me to it.

Completists beware! There are two variant covers for this issue, one in color and the other a sketch. Either shell out the dough or enjoy this scan:

That's the cover of Alpha Flight #3 in miniature.

Was the variant cover particularly rare? Because my local comic shop says they don't have any copies of that... I know that the regular was about 5 dollars... how much is the variant valued at? I checked on Ebay and couldn't find it either...
