Alpha Flight Mentioned On CBC Newsworld

On CBC's Newsworld show: The Hour there was an interview with Joe Q (man, TV adds MORE than ten pounds to a person :lol: ) about religion in comics. JQ didn't say anything about AF, but a fan wrote in about the rumour dealing with Cap A and other American heroes joing the team. Not much, but some national attention to our heroes, eh?

Fascinating! The last time AF was mentioned on the news was when Northstar came out.

And then, back in 1983, when volume 1 first came out, there was some mention of Alpha Flight in the Candian press, including MacLean's and an Edmonton newspaper, among others. A friend of mine, Derek McCulloch, sent me a clipping of this article, which was huge! I still have it somewhere, (not sure where, though, sorry). :cry:
