You know, I always thought that Weapon PRIME was largely made up of the Outcasts.

Killjoy was Depth Charge. Yeti has been experimented on and is Cleft, he wears the collar to hold his form, unlike Sasquatch he can't control his transformation. Flagstone isn't Tygerstryke, he's a military guy as we know. The Double Trouble twins obviously are not Outcasts, but why can't the other two be? Flagstone can be explained as being in the Program but we never met him.

Heck, why not? They could all join AF, except Tygerstryke (when you have Guardian), Yeti (Sasquatch), and Flagstone. But why not bring in Killjoy and Double Trouble if more than just MML and Zuzha are dead??

Because Weapon PRIME is a lame, lame collection of lame, lame characters.

Liefeld-spawn who saw daylight in three storylines, none of which lasted long.

Well, that and Killjoy's a frggin' psycho.

I would only want to see Weapon L.A.M.E...ahem...I mean Weapon P.R.I.M.E. in an Alpha Flight book to see AF beat the snot out of them....and maybe have them die horrible deaths....Wow...Did I say that?

I heard Yeti was the Wendigo wearing a device that allowed his human mind to be dominant. Can't recall where I read that. Does anyone else remember this?

The thing I've always noticed about Yeti is the lack of a tail...In none of his appearances has he been shown to have one(which all Wendigos do)...Nor has he ever been said to be a cannibal...It kind of makes me doubt he's a real Wendigo.

The only things that really and truly connect him to the Wendigo...is the somewhat similar appearance(although, he looks much more ape-like than othe Wendigos) and the second appearance use of the code-name Wendigo(he wasn't named in his first appearance, as the www.marvunapp.com profile mentions).

He wasn't named in his first apperance, but the first name they said he was none other than Wendigo, than as the mission went on became Yeti.

I figure Liefeld was the one pushing for it to be Wendigo, but once new writers were on the horizon for X-Force they didn't like the idea or were told to drop it, so Yeti was born in his second appearance, who knows if Liefeld was the one who had that idea or not.

BTW, BM Bendis and Cho are supposed to write a second Avengers book, think it'll have anything to do with AF in Civil War? I don't.

I doubt it also. Word is no Alpha until after CW. They might show up in some CW books, but they won't have a series for some time yet.

I have a feeling it's going to be a new Avengers West Coast series. I hope AF will play some part in the CW series (It would be nice to see them alive).

2 Avengers books?
Maybe one led by Cap's stance, another led by Iron Man's establishment heroes?
Seems kind of obvious, doesn't it?

Weapon PRIME was just Liefeld's attempt at making his own more EXTREME!!! version of Alpha Flight.

Guy in a energy battlesuit leading the team, a pair of twins that have to touch to use their powers, the big hulking man-beast. Just more or Liefeld's excessivly derivative creativity. All with more attitude and severe constipation it seems...

Yeah, he loves to have loads of pouches hanging off the characters belts, and those ginormous guns of his...

Hung up on phalic symbolism? Leifeld? Nah!!!!
