I figure it's either they return to become good guys, or they become more permanent bad guys.

And where's the search for Box, hmmm?

Maybe they are getting them ready for use a little further down the line in the Omega Flight series?

Getting them ready for an upcoming Alpha Flight series would be infinitely better.

I'm with Dana on this one! Even if it takes some time I'd much rather see them in an Alpha Flight series!

I know that this is total heresy but... I kinda like John Paul on the X men. I liked the attempt to show that there is more than one kind of sexual orientation. That and he's so freaking snarky that it was hillarious to get him around people who just aren't used to that.

I wonder in the new Alpha FLight if they'd use some of the chars from this latest AF, or if they'd stick to the originals? It'd be pretty confusing to combine both. Puck is awesome, but two pucks is just odd.

I figure they'll mostly use only people from v1, maybe some from v2. Unlikely anything from v3 from comments I've read. V2 at least had popular characters in popular settings, and two popped up depowered in New Avengers.

I really liked Puck II though... And I actually thought MM was okay if fleshed out and not a walking joke.

I always wondered if MM's power that he didn't have he actually did have. If I remember correctly it had to do with energy absorption and if he did have it.... He may not have died. He could even be Guardian, which would be really odd and I wouldn't like. Though it would be interesting. I think if I was writing it and wanted to shock people its what I would do. Hmm.... Or Guardian could just be Guardian and MM could be a dead mountie.

Thunder had the power, MMLJ was definitely powerless.

MM was kind of endearing though. He reminded me of a puppy, wanting validation. He's unsure and I think that gives him some depth, which I kinda like. He's sweet.

And yes, Thunder may have had the power, but Thunder could have chosen anyone, but he chose MM. Green Lantern's techinically powerless, but because he has the ring, he has power. It's kinda like that.

I liked "Puckette" too. I hope she and Puck aren't dead. I'd like to see the how's and why's of her life, who her mom was, etc.

She needs her own code-name, though.

What about Pan? It's basically the same person as Puck, just a slightly different name.

I read the English reprint of X-men, called Essential X-Men, running since 1996 or so, a monthly comic that reprints US X-Men titles in an anthology. You get 3 issues in a cardboard stock cover, so it is good value. It saves me buying multiple X-titles. However, it is selective in what it reprints, currently Astonishing X-Men and Uncanny. It just gives me a dose of X-Factor(pardon the pun) without having to try and keep up with multiple X-titles and creative teams. Also it is about 2 years behind current X titles.

Therefore, I have NO CLUE as to what is going on with Northstar and Aurora. Was Jean Paul killed? Was he killed by Logan? What is going on? Could someone please give me a brief synopsis?

Northstar joined the Xavier Institute as a teacher after 'The Eve Of Destruction' arc. He basically did **** all for ages. In Wolverine #25, during the 'Enemy of The State' arc, Wolverine attacked the X-Men and in the process gutted Northstar. Northstar died and should have been decapitated by the X-Men to prevent the Hand from resurrecting him. This didn't happen, he came back as a member of a band of resurrected types who attacked S.H.I.E.L.D. He was captured by S.H.I.E.L.D. and something went on. He recently turned up inn the X-Men comic with his sister (who has just recently severed all connection to the Weapon X program). They are both slightly psychologically damaged. The White Queen would seem to have placed them into some kind of telepathic coma and there should be some resolution to all this in the annual.

Succinct and to the point. Thanks. I am informed!! Aurora and weapon X??

Aurora went doollally dip (welll more so than normal) and was being transported to a facillity somewhere. She was kidnapped from the ambulance and taken to the Weapon X facillity. Also there during her stay was Wildchild who has regressed into a totally Nosferatu looking fella and Maddy Jeffries who was taken from the Zodiac group. Aurora started up a relationship with the director of Weapon X who hated mutants. During a mission she was disfigured by Sabretooth. Maddy still in a brainwashed state produced Box Guards to guard captive mutants in the Neverland camp. Amongst these was Diamond Lil. After Weapon X collapsed from within, Aurora, Maddy and the Director all escaped. To my knowledge, Maddy is still with the director. Aurora left them and some how wound up with Northstar. Wildchild is the head of security of the new Weapon X (last I heard he can't speak as Sabretooth damaged his vocal chords). Diamond Lil is a member of the 198 (the mutants who still have powers after 'House of M'). I believe she may have been one of those who recently left Xaviers and got trapped in the vault featured in Civil War X-Men 1-4. Although I didn't see any sign of her. She may have been part of the group who went off with Apocalypse. Not sure which.
