I was just reading in the paper last night at work that a meteor that crashed in Tagish Lake on the BC-Yukon border, back in January of 2000, contained organic material that is older than the Earth's solar system.

This discovery apparently added credence to a theory that life first began to evolve on Earth's thanks to such meteors.

Make's you wonder where this stuff is coming from. Or, with all of this life-building matter being tossed around the universe, how many other ideally situated planets it has taken hold on.

Kinda makes me think of the Master and the Plodex.

Organic can mean carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, anything with carbon. Don't mean much to me. When they say amino acids, they mean carbon-nitrogen atoms. To me, some day they'll distinguish between 'organic' and 'living' with new terms.
