Sweet, thats awesome. I noticed Kolins wrote "Byrne" besides his name. Why is that?

Oh, and what do you use to colour Ben? I'm always curious what programs people use to do that sort of stuff with. (Mainly because I regularly use three different graphics programs instead of sensibly sticking with one.)

it says Byrne because he was inspired by a Byrne aurora pic.

"I didn’t copy, but wound up staring at a Byrne Aurora drawing – and did my take on that. Anyone guess where it’s from?"

as for colouring, I use Paintshop Pro.

Man, now it seems like even more a waste to keep her as a brainwashed villain! Beautiful sketch and excellent colour job Ben!

now, i can't remember the issue number off the top of my head, but i am almost positive that is the stance she was in when she first wore the yellow costume.

Nice to have 'Alpha' creators who actually CARE about Alpha.... even if it's not TECHNICALLY an 'Alpha' title!

Alpha Flight #20. I thought the same thing. (And I just happened to have it open beside me.)

Ooh, did I mention, Excellent work? No?
Well, excellent work.

Thanks guys, she's alot of fun to draw. And Ben did a nice coloring job too.

But no, the Byrne inspiration was not the yellow costume splash.

It was the AF ad in AF #16 for AF #17. It was a group shot - the copy asked "who will lead AF?". Almost everybody in that shot was drawn in perfect .

ahhhhh....

thats right!

anyone have that image hanging around?

btw scott, great stuff, i am soooo looking forward to yours and mikes run on this series, it finally seems like someone "gets" this team and its history.

btw, if mike is on the fence about sasquatch you need to dropkick him to the right side so he shows up in this series, your sasquatch is dead-on!

In my defence, that was next to my computer, and therefore, ergo, vis a vis, concordantly on my mind at the time.

You've really kicked it up a notch.
Cool.

Wow! She hasn't looked that good in a very long time. Brings back adolescent fantasies! I can't wait for the series. It looks like this creative group has a clue and cares a bit about our favorites. Great work! I'm anxiously awaiting the ongoing!

Very nice drawing and the color job works great on there! Ah it's good to see someone working on our book who actually likes what they're doing, and acknowledges us too. :)
