I mentioned recently that I had AF #20 open next to my computer.

Here's why:

It's a nice pic, like the background a lot. I've heard it's a very complexe software and hair is very hard to do. Did it take you long to do that pic? Is it normal that I'm seeing some pixels there? Too much size reduction on jpeg or it's something else?

The background's just a photo. :-/ It's a photo of the Canadian Rockies, tho', as far as I know. :)

I think the pixels are an artefact of changing to the Jpeg format.

I used Max 8, which has a special hair program--one of the reasons I chose Sas. The picture took about two months; one month to create the model, another to get all the elements in place and render several versions.
One month to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them.

Impressive. I remember Ben doing a couple of 3D images a few years back. You should get together and do a group pic as a Masthead, or not...

I was thinking of doing the ad for #12; 'One of them won't survive'. (Probably adding Heather into the mix.)

But it's going to be a long time before I have another opportunity to do the next character.

Top Tips: Before attempting to remove stubborn stains from a garment, always circle the stain in permanent pen, so that when you remove the garment from the washing machine you can easily locate the area of the stain and check that it has gone.
