I know. I'm evil.

You guys do great work--though I'm wondering what to expect from that Sasquatch. (To be honest, I'm not sure I see the point with at least two out there already; at least, I'd give priority to someone who doesn't exist yet; the twins, maybe. Of course, if it's as good as the rest of your stuff, I'll be ordering it.)

Should I wait for the Marrina and Box before I order the Puck and Talisman?

Talisman isn't ready for molding yet and, neither Marinna nor Sasquatch have even begun to be sculpted.

Our Sasqauatch will be in PROPER scale though, as opposed to the prepainted version offered by Bowen Designs.

Please keep in mind that these are garage kits, not prepainted/completed pieces .. they will need some small assembly and painting .. but once done (and done properly), you can't tell the difference between kits and finished prepaints ... as a matter of fact, I've had more success with liking kits than I have a lot of prepaints.

Excellent. Are these fully licensed by Marvel?

99.99% of garage kits are unlicensed .. everyone has to start somewhere, as a matter of fact, most current day manufacturers, including the likes of Bowen & Hard Hero started in the garage kit field.

Also, these pieces are not "mass produced" and aren't done for a profit motive ... they're done strictly for the love of the characters themselves. Usually fewer than 25 copies are even made of any given sculpt.

Witness the existence of a Forbush Man sculpt. :)

Reserve one of each Alphan for me. (Don't make me bring back the kitten! 8))

I'm not sure I even realised about the scale; but my Diamond 'Squatch is pretty small in comparison. Now that you mention it.

Here is a picture of what our Sasquatch will end up looking like pose wise and size wise.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v292/Jesse321/alphasmallsnowbirdjesse.jpg

And by the way .. Bowen designs like my Puck so much that they bought it and will be mass producing it under their license, but I'm the only one that has the full sized version.

Just noticed Puck's cigar.

For some reason, when I saw it on your page, I didn't 'get' the Sas pic. But I do now.

That'll be massive!
You thinking of putting Tally into that pic?

No, with the possible exception if Heather/Guardian the rest of those pieces look like crap to me.

Please for the love of god sell the full sized version. That's incredible.Sorry, but the original sculpt was destroyed in molding .. the only way that I could do it now would be to cast my only copy (the one pictured) and that's just not going to happen.

You'll be able to add the mini bust to your collection .. Bowen took that exact piece and it's being shrunk down and cut along the waist to fit the Bowen line. :)

yes but I would rather have the full puck lol... but anyways, when is puck schedualed to be released do you have any clue?

No clue yet ... but I have a feeling that Bowen will be putting him up for pre-order any time now. [-o<

How much is it for a commision peice?

Love your DC work

Jesse321
02-26-2007, 08:42 AM
each kit averages around 75 or so Sasquatch is going to be around 120 because of the sheer size, amounts of molding and resin he's going to take to make.

SmurfInABlender
02-26-2007, 10:27 AM
...and you for sure... for absolute... have no way of casting puck lol

(sorry kind of a puck fan)

Not without ruining mine and that's simply not going to happen .. sorry. The only way it will happen is to have him completely resculpted from scratch which is a very expensive proposition to say the least.

Your Talisman bust is a beauty! I can see it with my other AF collectibles on top of my bookcase. Talisman has always been one of my favorite characters, and you've definitely done her justice. Even unpainted, she looks elegant. Nice work!

I seriously tempted to sneak to his house and steel his one and only copy of Puck... but i won't

though its big, I've always wanted a statue of the Box robot (the first one) with Mr. Jefferies standing next to it in his leather jacket that he wore early on.... that would be glorious

It's like a model kit .. it needs building and painting. What you will get is basically what you see in the picture of Talisman. Once it assembled and painted it looks just like a MB produced by Bowen Designs, Sideshow, DST etc.

As a matter of fact, this is the same way they produce theirs, they just go through the extra step of assembling, painting and packaging theirs.
