Help if possible

Hey all. I have never tried to do it before so Im having a bit of trouble doing it. How does one insert a picture into a post. I have been trouble shooting it for a bit with no luck. Thanks in advance :D

you must have the image online to be able to do this. You can upload the image to the photo album, but images uploaded there can't be actually displayed in a message for security reasons, but you can display a link to images in the album. Otherwise if you have the image online somewhere else, you can show it.

So if i had a JPEG or Paint picture I cant "paste" it onto a post? For instance. King Mungi has that photo at the bottom of all his posts.

Nope the image has to be online somewhere.

I see. So if I where to post a pic on say MYSPACE or another site I could than copy it here? And thanks again im such a noob with this :oops:

Yes, you would copy the actual URL of the image here in between the img tags as seen above.

Here is a myspace example. I went into myspace, right clicked on the image I wanted and clicked on properties. There it shows me the URL of the image. I highlight and copy that URL, come here, click the img button, paste the image url in, then hit the img button again (to close the tag).

You have the right idea, but you have to remember to close the tag by hitting the button again right after pasting the image URL in. The other problem is that the way the album archives the images, they can't be embedded in a message for security reasons, so if you have an image in the album, you can post the URL to it, but it can't show up as an image in the thread.

Thanks for all the help Ben :D You rule. I got the basis of it now. Im gonna play with it a bit.
