Has anyone listened to Pandora.com? It's an awesome radio station that's sort of like Lastfm but sleeker.

Anyways, apparently the RIAA is trying to kill most internet radio. It's an American thing, (you're supposed to be american to use pandora actually... but that's easy to get around) so if anybody here from le U.S. wants to help save internet radio they should ask their congressperson to support the Radio Internet Equality Act which would save internet radio (based in the U.S.)

This is to scary a thing. The American government already leases the airwaves to various broadcast companies and ultimately controls them. Im sure if they had their way. They would control satellite radio, internet radio and the internet itself. Controlling these things and telling us whats "Decent" and what we should listen to is another form of book burning IMO. Personally...I want to be offended, I want authority to be challenged, and I want to think for myself. How are we to become a race of intelligent free thinking people if we cant be allowed to have that choice. A great man once said. Well.... I just got the wonderful news! As of the 16th all Canadians are being locked out of Pandora. I have no idea why. I'm assuming its because the parliment has done absolutely nothing regarding the internet and our laws are out of date regarding internet radio or something. Hopefully I'll be able to defeat this locking out with the use of a certain software program made so that chinese people can avoid censors.
