Mac- Wolverine question

My fellow Alpha fans,

Its been awhile since I posted but I seem to forgot the connection of Mac and Logan. Was Mac responsible in some way for Logan's claws. All I remember is that Mac shot him in the woods
Logan left cuz of Bedlam and his love for Heather
everything in between I cant remember

Naaaa.. at first people thought it was Mac that grafted the adamintium on his claws, but that was later proved false when Bedlam informed Heather she was wrong.

Their first connection with finding him in the woods and Heather shooting him.
