Big news! I just read under the Amazon review for Alpha Flight TPB volume 1, that volume 2 will be coming out in June 2008! :D (I don't know what issues will be in this volume, but I'm glad they're coming out with another one.)

Nope...It's Vol. 2 of Alpha Flight Classic (featuring the Byrne issues)...And You're right (or close to right, anyway) Mike...It's issues 9-16.

Now, why would they split up Byrne's initial year up that way? Why the first 8 issues, when the initial storyline is easily seen to be 12 or 13 issues long? Maybe it's the fact it'd have to be 286 pages long (13 issues @ 22 pages average each)? Or the fact 13 is an "unlucky" number (in which case, could'nt they have just done the first 12, ending with Mac's death)?
