Ok lets say for the purpose of this discussion Alpha Flight gets its own series again very soon starring the original team. It works out, we like it, and its at the least a commercial and critical success. What place does Omega Flight have in Alpha history. Despite its outstanding sales it was not made an ongoing. Although one could say that as a mini it did bring interest to people to who had either forgot or where unaware of Alpha. Would the current impending Alpha series be happening at all if not for the high sales of Omega Flight? So down the road and perhaps even now almost a year later. Where does Omega Flight fit into the Alpha Flight pantheon?

Omega flight was the first comic i had read from the flight series. I think omega flight did get some people back and get some new fans.
thats why i hope marvel will make it an on-going or another mini for it.

I'd like to think that Omega Flight fits more relevantly into Alpha history than vol 3. Omega was a natural (although not wanted) progression in the Alpha story. If truth be known I'd rather Omega had been called vol 3 instead of Lobdells offering.

Agreed. I think OF will be a transitional team that will be used to bridge the awfulness AF slid into, with the fresh start the new title will bring.
