Hey everyone,

Any news at all, or hints or rumours, anything at all?

Seems like we heard a while back that there would be an announcement or something in January about a new Flight book. But, since then, nothing...

Any idea why?

Do we think there is still something brewing, cuz you'd think we would have heard SOMETHING by now, some leaked rumours or something.

or do we think it has died quicker than the "Omega Flight series" got downgraded to a limited? (or quicker than AF died in New Avengers)

Also, has there been any appearances lately by Wild Child anywhere? They went and made him a villain again, and then...nothing! Or did i miss something?

Oh yes. Wild Child is no longer a bad guy. He's working in Boise at a Burger King. He's also taken to wearing women's clothing. It's really sad how the mighty have fallen *sigh* :(

Personally, I blame the Bush administration.

I keep checking the adverts for upcoming titles hoping that there's another mini or an ongoing. The only reason I check those stupid things anymore...

But, knowing my luck, they'll announce that Bendis will give them another off-panel death and have the Canadian government begging the Initiative to form a team for them. :evil: :evil:

I'm still wondering about those Northstar and Aurora busts that were supposed to be out. Have I missed them, or have they not come out yet?

Chinese Democracy?

An "interesting" album...one great song, a couple of stinkers, and a whole lot of pseudo-ballads. Sure hope his (Axel's) next one is better (when it comes out in 2053).

Hmm, word is that USAgent will be in the Mighty Avengers. Wonder how that happens and how that affects the Flight.

Personally, I'm glad that USAgent will no longer be in the flight...I didn't really care for him and it seemed rather idiotic to put him on the team. Though I'm hoping that whatever they do with the Flight, I hope they keep Arachne...I actually liked her there.

Arachne is the only American not in another book now. maybe they'll keep that character. Depends on who's in charge and what the new Flight book (yes, I'm getting way ahead of myself) looks like.

They weren't returned with the other replaced heroes, villains, etc at the end of Secret Invasion...Even Mockingbird (a character who died a real death years ago, and whose soul was trapped in hell) was there...What's up with that?! Omega were not shown playing any part in fighting off the "invasion" and Alpha remains dead...

Well, look at the bright side, Dana: if Mac taught us one thing, it's that death isn't the end-all it should be! Give them a bit more time and they'll appear on Ganymede again, or found living with amnesia in the Savage Land, feeding off discarded dinosaur carcasses or something. Don't give up hope!

With USAgent now in Mighty Avengers, at least we know that the next time AF gets a series, it won't be Force Works. Glad he won't be part of the team.. Now we need to here about ALPHA FLIGHT and when that series will be released!!

It will be good to get US Agent off the Canadian team. He'd be more in place on an Aussie one! *sigh*.

(I liked Chinese Democracy, but I'm an Alice Cooper fan and thought it wouldn't sound out of place on his latest album.)

Cooper's latest album is pretty dark. i actually preferred his more tongue-in-cheek last couple of albums.

I'm a big Alice fan as well.

Saw him in concert in 2000. Had tickets to see him this year, but had to sell the tickets so i could go and visit a friend in need.

Yeah, Along Came A Spider isn't his best album; but I still like it.
And he's great live! If you're up front, that is.

Sooo....We know both Beta Ray Bill and U.S.Agent are in the States now (or soon will be, as Agent will be joining an Avengers team)...And Fred Van Lent will not be working on an Alpha Flight series?

Lemme guess, the kill of Alpha Flight to get Walker to Omega Flight and then kill off Omega Flight to get him back.

I'd say it's Scarlet Witch going to acquire Walker and bring him back to the Avengers, while OF fights off the attack or whatever is happening. She's bringing him to Stark Industries and OF is left to handle whatever the heck is happening. Pointer looks like he's dying, the other two less worse off.

Of course, Pointer could be the source of what's going on, but why the writer is taking Walker out of a place he may be needed is odd, to say the least.
