From the Encyclopaedia Deadpoolica: there is something interesting written in the "Behind the Scenes" page for Deadpool #1:

"The inclusion of Sasquatch in the premiere issue long preceded plans for a second Alpha Flight series. In fact, the back story between Langkowski and Deadpool (a bitter back story at that) was part of a set-up that would have lead to heavy Alpha Flight involvement in the back story of Wade and Weapon X in Year II of the series."

Now this is very interesting to me because I was always puzzled by some of the things Sasquatch was saying to Deadpool in issue #1. It seemed as if there were a bitter back story, just like it says in the blurb, but I couldn't pin it down. Apparently, this story was never told. I wonder what it was? Also, "heavy Alpha Flight involvement"?!?! wow.

This is awsome.
Not only do i get my fav. character, DeadPool, but he also gets to work with big foot.

To bad they didnt follow through with this story... Although i doubt it would have made Alpha Flight seem any better.

That's a cool bit of info...Too bad AF didn't get more facetime in Deadpool back then...It certainly would have gotten them more attention.

I wonder what the reaction would be if Deadpool ended up on a new version of Alpha Flight?

The comic sales would be way up.

but not because their alphaflight, its because deadpool was in it.

Or maybe do it the marvel way, Alpha flight is written horribly, then they get killed to save deapool!
