What would you prefer if Marvel does announce, before the summer, that Flight is returning? Being realistic, of course.

a) A reboot in Ultimate Alpha Flight?

b) Omega Flight? Right now only Sasquatch, Arachne, and possibly Pointer are still be on the team.

c) Alpha Flight continuing off from wherever in Omega Flight? You know, only having Sasquatch and Arachne and maybe, maybe Pointer with new members somehow?

d) Alpha Flight but really not following from Omega Flight, a fresh start as it were, as the last few incarnations mostly were.

e) Alpha Flight First Class?

f) A miniseries?

Me, I'd go with d) really but I think, to be realistic, I'd pick c) and hope Pointer is gonzo. Then Aurora, Northstar, Box, and Diamond Lil could rejoin. And a true Guardian would be on the team. Or new characters join old ones, or....

I agree with choice D.

But, i'd also like to see another Omega Flight mini series.

I'd go with option G, the classic line up returns. However, from the choices you provide I'd go with C with the hope Pointer is back in the States and Talisman, Box and Snowbird return.

I'd go with D, (or G?), if by a fresh start you mean the classic line-up returning. I don't want a lot of unrecognizable new characters passed off as "Alpha Flight".

I'd also go with G...Or perhaps C (with Pointer gone and other living members returning).

I'd go with D. Omega Flight seemed to be related to the Initiative, and I gather thats dead now and we've moved into yet another marvel wide event. Pointer can go, and Arachne could stick around, or not.

d & g : go in a different direction than Omega Flight with Classic Alpha Flight.

following along from Omega Flight - so they can put right what they made SO very wrong.

Snowbird comes in, punches pointer back to Alaska. Slaps Walter around the face to wake him up. Changes the name back to Alpha Flight - the Beaubiers, Persuasion, Diamond Lil, Talisman, Yukon Jack and Madison Jeffries all return. Arachne can stay - US Agent goes off with the Avengers. Perhaps throw in one new CANADIAN character - a few inssues in discover that Marrina is alive and bring her back in.

No slapstick. No super-evil Canadian Government even with Stephen Harper, that's just not who we are a s a nation - just bonafide Marvel heroes in bonafide Marvel stories.

Eventually figure out a way to bring Eugene Milton Judd back from the dead. Tell us what the heck happened with Mac & Heather's baby and for *****sake - put a Canadian in the Guardian suit! End of rant. Sorry.

Well I have it in mind that somehow Talisman is keeping their souls in check until the bodies can be properly restored. As we know she has some awesome power that has to date really been untapped. I mean she's powerful enough to have a demi-goddess bow down to her! that's power!

i vote for d and g as well.
in the latest intiative, they are pulling out the real heroes that the skrulls took form, such as Thorgirl and Razorback. Razorback....you serious. If they can bring him back then they can bring back Mac and crew

No slapstick. No super-evil Canadian Government even with Stephen Harper, that's just not who we are as a nation

Hmmmm...I know Canadians here and elsewhere have claimed that to be true, yet doesn't Canada have one of the world's most famous super spy training camps (I believe James Bond creator, Ian Fleming went there)?

...And in Marvel Universe continuity, both Canada and the States worked together to create the Weapon X program and the Mutant super-weapons that it spawned?

I'm sure your government has it's secrets too, just like every other government on the planet.

Also...It's not as if the entire government was evil...It was just certain members of Department H...General Clarke for one. There plenty of good people working there, Like Doctor Haddock (who ran the Prometheus Division). Besides, I doubt any of those "evil" folks would see their actions as being evil...They were doing what they felt was necessary to protect their country and use the superhuman resources at their disposal the best way they saw fit.

I agree, but it makes far too much sense to have the Alphans replaced by skrulls...They did go into space at the beginning of Volume 3 to return the Plodex eggs to their home world, after all...The "Alphans" who returned could have easily been skrull replacements, but nooooooo...

I doubt Marvel will go that route now...They hardly ever write stories that make sense, anymore.

Apparently Canada isn't important enough to have it's flagship team, saved from skrull captivity...They have to be dead...Ugh.

joe q has a myspace thing that i asked a question on this week that i really believe will work.

marvel seems to be tinkering around with its original digital conetent, it seems like it would be more cost efficient because they would be cutting out the publishing costs, although it may piss off some of the retailers/comic shops.

but i feel some of the titles that struggle with the numbers (although we all know its never been a numbers issue with alpha) would excel in this format.

i would pay $10 or whatever they charge a month to see a alpha comic online. i think it would be perfect for titles like alpha, cloak and dagger, she hulk, new warriors, etc...... that have a very loyal fan base but never pull the numbers that marvel looks for. this way a series can come out without having to worry about the axe falling because of sales numbers.

oh, and if this happened, i would want the originals back. maybe hang on to arachne, because i've grown to like her.

Please tell me it's not $10 a month to read an online comic...That's a freaking rip-off.

no no no, that was just my assumption, and it wouldn't be just for one comic, probably like a subscription to 4 or 5 a month.

No thanks, but i prefer to purchase real comics.

Digital is fancy and all, but you just cant get the same feeling when you finally get that comic you have been waiting all month for, and then you pop the 2 little tapes, and then you take it out, and then you take a nice sniff of the freshness and artwork and paper material because it has a strange, yet envious smell that you live for. (Ok, i now im proably smelling toxic fumes or some sort form the factorys, but still!)
And then you rub your fingers along the crisp, fresh pages of the comic and flip thorugh to see the amazing artowrk.

Werid, but i do that lol

Nothing weird about that at all. I couldnt agree more...and neither would Stan Lee. I remember watching a documentary about the history of comics. In it they discussed the possible future of comics IE digital. Stan Lee sighted that he felt digital would never replace the real thing. He described reading a new comic in the same fashion. Boo digital Yay the real thing.

well i agree, but alpha monthly digitally is better than no alpha at all.

At this point I agree with that notion as well. Its been how many years since Omega? For how long have we been told to stay tuned that news is coming with no no news coming at all? Its getting a bit ubsurd at this point. I wonder how much it would cost to buy their rights from Marvel and sell them to an independant company...

I'd go with D and even leave Pointer on the team. While he may not be the most stable member, I think it would make for some good story telling if people questioned his leadership - and develop Pointer to eventually control his powers and actually BECOME a good leader.
