Even though there is no text I'm sure Wolveribe will say something about AF being killed by Pointer.

I can definitely see something like, you dont deserve to wear Jimbo's suit bub.
I think payback is a b---h. but I dont know if they could write that in comics?
Its just me, but when did Nekra hit the XMen series? I stopped buying it some time ago outside of the appearances of Alphans first appearances in the series

As long as they leave Aurora alone in her whole mental state now, Im okay with Jean-Paul getting jabbed up here and there

Here is to hoping that panel shows the end of Michael Pointer, forever.

Gonna have to save that one and make it my new PC wallpaper!

I'm gonna wait for this storyline in TPB form, That panel of Pointer getting battered is worth the money on it's own. Hopefully there are no speech bubbles for that sequence, the images are more than enough imo.

I wouldn't expect Weapon Omega to die, he'll probably absorb Logan's healing power anyway. I saw that yesterday but was too busy to post a link. But he gets his anyway.

Jeffries being there should be interesting too.

You can actually spin a Dark Alpha Flight with the people involved: Pointer, Daken, Northstar and Aurora - through previous ties, Madison- from the Zodiac- and even add Diamond Lil with her ties with Omega Flight. If it brings the series back, I would take Pointer

In a closer viewing of the images of Pointer getting stuck by Wolverine, I noticed something. Seems to me like somebody else must have taken a shot at him as well, because there is definitely something that looks like a wooden stake sticking out of his body, at around his belt level. Looks ot me, like he got taken down by Wolverine's claws from behind, and somebody in front of him threw something into his body as well.

Also, he does appear to be drawing in mutant energies. Then, when he gets killed (or badly wounded, whatever), it looks like those same energies explode outwards from him. Any chance at all that every mutant he has drained and killed, suddenly find themselves returned to life? Including, oh I don't know, maybe some Canadian heroes?

I think that stake is just some of the rubble flying around.
Unfortunately, when Xorn was defeated Pointer lost most of the mutant energies he was carrying, so I doubt that they'll use that as a way to bring anybody back... though it would be nice.

So much for them leaving Aurora alone (Dark X-Men Beginnings #3).

Just got Dark Avengers/Uncanny X-men: Exodus conclusion today and Wolverine gets a nice shot at Weapon Omega with Logan saying...

"You killed a mess o' my pals up north, bub. You don't get to walk away from that."

Pretty sure he does not absorb powers, just life-essences.

He absorbs powers, life-essence energy, and personalities, but not memories.

Did something change, then? In Marvel Comics Presents, during his storyline, Pointer saps the life energies from the captured mutants, but nobody ever saw him use any of their powers.

If Marvel changed that, then they're stupid(er than i originally thought).

He physically changed and took on aspects of the reptilian character (the Raptor?), IIRC from the preview art.

I never bought or read the crap, so I can't say for sure.
