View Full Version : New Mutants #4
It appears that it is Jeffries that shows up at the end of New Mutants #4, to help assist in bringing Legion home. Looks like Jeffries is slowly taking over the role that Forge used to play. At the very least, I am glad he is getting more exposure!

Let's just hope he doesn't suffer the same character derailment as Forge...
Or has that already happened?
what IS the current status of Forge? Was curious as to why they aren't using him too...

Last I knew, Forge went a bit nuts and tried to create his own sort of Frankenstein-like "mutants"....That's about all I know.

Yeah he went abit nuts during the Ghost Box arc and is believed to have been killed. Only time will tell I suppose, but he became somewhat of a villian.

... in a matter of a few short weeks since helping the X-Men against Bishop in the pages of Divided We Stand/Cable...

Yeah, the new episode has been sitting on the DVR for, like, TWO DAYS, which is, like, forever in the anxious mind of a fanatic. I really love that show. It's amazing.
Anyway, the Jeffries appearance was in 3 panels, as a member of the science team. There's a guest artist this month on NM, and his style is quite different, but he does a fairly OK Jeffries. It's a real talky issue.
I'll post a review later when I can get to my scanner. I tried doing it last night but the scanner lid slipped out of my hand and destroyed the comic :( and I was too pissed off to continue. Of course, when I say "destroyed", I really mean "made a tiny fold near the spine imperceptible to sane humans" but still, it was a bummer.
Love,

EDIT: I got over it all and scanned in some pics. Posted here (http://alphaflightcollector.wordpress.com/2009/10/02/scotty-i-gotta-have-more-power/) along with a review.
