Definitely wishing you all a very merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! I just got home from having dinner at my folks house. It was grand, many layers of in-laws and out-laws, kids, grand kids, cats, food and plenty of wine. Lucky for me I'm only a driveway away from my folks house ;)

I just got back from making the 100 kilometre round-trip to have Christmas dinner with my aging (70's and 80's) parents. Also got to watch my ten year old daughter excitedly tear into her gifts from daddy.

Other than that, a quiet day, quieter now that I am alone in my peaceful and silent apartment. A good day to reflect, be thankful for the things in life that are important, like friends and family and faith.
