There's an ad for Alpha Flight beer in the Wolverine: Wendigo one-shot!

BEER!

Later tonight I will post scans. It's in the form of a poster on the wall, gotta love it!

Love,

Here is the scan: It's actually a poster on a door, which is why it's on an angle.

I saw the beer ad when I flicked through it, but not Kyle.

I take it he was in the drugged up adversary vision bit?

Yes, that's right Phil, in the drugged up panel with Wolverine's adversaries. I'll scan it in sometime soon.

Hmm... I had another look and still can't see Kyle. Only people that looks like him is either Bloodscream or Pierce...

I don't know why I haven't brewed a beer dedicated to something Alpha related. Heck maybe this is something we could all work on. The community can name the beer, what style of beer it'll be, and maybe even a label design contest and I could brew it up and print a limited run of labels here. I'm in the process right now of becoming fully licensed in the states of PA and NJ but I could certainly do a 5 gallon batch of something and ship the "collectible glassware" to those who helped out in the endeavor.

Puck Ale anyone?
Maybe a Langkowski Lager?

I would be happy to taste test the first batch, The entire first batch. Let's see.. just the alliterative titles

Shaman Stout
Puck Pilsner
Plodex Porter
Diamond Lil Lambic
Madison Jeffries Malt Liquor
Windshear Wheat
Guardian Genuine Draft

and of course,

Box Bock!

If I had any graphic design skills at all, I'd make up labels for these. Unfortunately, I don't. My beer skills consist of opening them and drinking them, so perhaps I can still be of service.

That's cool. I just got some 'SobeRing Thought' -- the official Lord of the Rings Beer.

Ooh, and I drove past a North Star Hotel.

Maybe I'll just come up with a custom label or two and put them on some existing beers. I'll work on some this week and post them up.

What's to bet that the drink is actually the most unpalatable swill ever brewed?

The Lord Of The Rings one? I don't know myself... I could get deported from my country for saying this, but I don't drink beer...
But it's light, light as.

I bought two; one of the recipients hated it, the other liked it.

I was thinking the Alpha Flight Beer. I suspect the reason Sasquatch is not on the picture is due to Walt actually having tasted the product :)

:( I haven't been yet. :(

I was thinking the Alpha Flight Beer. I suspect the reason Sasquatch is not on the picture is due to Walt actually having tasted the product :)

In that case, it depends on who brewed it; if it was the Byrne brewery, it'd be full and rich, with a good head to back it up; a truly great beer. If it was the Mantlo, dropping out of the picture would be the least of Walt's worries. If it was over in Lobdell County, it'd be more like root beer than beer; a soft drink, nothing too serious, and yet anyone tasting it would have the brainpower of somebody really, really drunk. The Seagle brand would give you a bitter hard liquor, made from wormwood and rhye, and call it beer for no apparent reason.
