Anybody know the answer to this one?

Does DC have any heroes or villains who are Canadian?

Also on my mind...I wonder if anyone has ever pitched to DC that they need a group of heroes based out of Canada? It may not be AF, but it'd be 'something' at least.

Just thought of another one, the hero Centrix from the Global Guardians

Now we are cooking! Two or three more, plus an impassioned letter to DC, and we get our own Canadian DC Superheroes comic book a la Alpha Flight! Woo-hoo!

Never heard of Flying Fox, but he sounds actually like AF's Shaman.

"Flying Fox, after being raised from the dead by his shaman grandfather, was imbued with an innate sensitivity for things mystical. He was in the possession of a pouch containing mystical herbs and powders, which he could use in casting spells, such as invisibility, illusion casting, and other properties. He was also in possession of a cloak that allowed him to fly and protected him from severe atmospheric conditions such as cold. Since he was young and unpractised, the limits of his capabilities are not known. He was also unfamiliar with many aspects of the modern world."

Well, they mention the Force Family of Canada in the write up for Sparx. Maybe there is the potential DC Canadians.

The Force family seems more like ClanDestine than Alpha Flight.

Wow...The Force family sound like a bit of a rip on Marvel's Clan Destine (but we know both companies like to do "homages" to the other's characters on occasion).

Big reveal from FanExpo....

http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=34143

This news piqued some interest, though it was quickly overshadowed by another announcement. "We reveal one of our main heroes that we've seen for a while is Canadian," Berganza hinted of the impending relaunch, before confirming that hero in question is none other than Booster Gold.

Great...we Canadians get the incompetent and not-well-liked hero. Hurrah...

Actually he is considered to be one of the greatest heros in the DCU, and pretends to be a goof while he time travels and saves everyone. No one knows he actually is saving them all on a regular basis. Hes a great character.
