The other day, I looked up Alpha Flight just for the heck of it.
Most of the hits I found for our series were speculation about movies. Here's a random sample:

The thing I can't help noticing, the thing I really want to point out, is that all of them, every one I found, was based in the original team. They barely stepped outside that. (I think there was one which I didn't find today that spoke of the DreamQueen.) The unsafe-for-work one used pictures exclusively from outside Byrne's run, but all the characters were from within.
For those who don’t know, Alpha Flight is a Canadian superhero group and it was drawn by one of my favorite Marvel artists, John Byrne,
He doesn't even acknowledge the non-Byrne stuff.
My point here, for Marvel more than us, is that even today, when people think Alpha Flight, they think the Original Eight. Not the 13, not the extra 5 who we don't even know who they are until they start humming 'Canadian Idiot'... wait, am I confused with something else?
