Northstar appears in this book, very cool art by Bachalo, whose style has much grown on me since the AoA version of Northstar a few years ago. He's "fwipping" around at super-speed, and essentially defeats all of the bad guys! Nice!

The only bad thing is the rounded ears... grr... he's got pointy ears, people!

Good catch, I didn't even skim the comic in the store. Guess I got to go pick it up.

Thanks

LOVED this. Vying with Dazzler for my favourite one-shot of the year, really. Storm and Gambit have been so bleh for this past decade and this was a brilliant return to form to what used to make them so awesome, Bachalo's art is always a blast, and it even had bonus Northstar/Dazzler being awesome, fabulous, badasses. Still laughing at Emma and her tan lines. What an awesome surprise this was, all I really know Chuck Kim from is that he wrote a lot of the old Heroes online graphic novels.

My god, someone on an X-Book remembered that speedsters are actually rather badass? I...I may need to go lie down for a bit. ;)

Why did the art go awful in the page before Northstar speedblitzed the vampires?

Also I enjoy the Dazzler, Northstar team.

Yeah, it seems like there was an error in the print process, or a failed attempt to use a magnification technique for some artistic purpose. Dunno what was up with that.

Yeah, I had 2 dodgy print pages too..
I quite enjoyed this issue, and a definite evolution of Bachalo's Northstar from AOA to X-Men: Supernovas to this.
Still no pointy ears though...
