Alpha Flight Fear Itself Promo Art

Tom Brevoort mentions AF, and we get some promo art for the AF: Fear Itself cover as well, in his Talk To The Hat column (http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=31377) on CBR.
Sadly, he doesn't talk at all about Alpha's maxi-series or .1 issue, but rather uses the team as an example of the difficulty a team book can have without a strong core concept. :(

Beat me to it :) Was just going to post that. Despite not much being said in the way of Alpha. I am enjoying Dale Eaglesham's renditions of the characters so far. The art should be stellar. I am really starting to get excited for this book.

Hmmm...there's a wanted poster for Puck. Is the Canadian government aware that Puck is in Hell? Maybe that's why there's a wanted pic. I really should keep more upto date with stuff. As an aside, that Snowbird pic is something else.

I kid. It's great - gives her a fifties look, which I like on her (based on her Byrne era big hair).

The art for Shaman, Sasquatch, Snowbird, Northstar and Aurora are SO SO excellent on that Fear Itself cover. Heather's image.... not so much. Goggles look strangely buglike and what is up with the misshapen head? Gonna give me creepy nightmare. But Shaman on the other hand, he looks awesome. So spot on.

Ah, so looks like we actually will be getting Aurora with the short hair and yellow costume? I'm fine with that.

So, if the Jiminez covers have got the 'Alpha Flight Fear Itself' dressing, hopefully the Eaglesham variants will have the classic logo and just be listed as Alpha Flight, so when the series gets turned ongoing it can carry straight through!
