A tad negative (http://chronicinsomniashow.blogspot.com/2011/05/chronic-review-alpha-flight-01.html?zx=3d90702c10a266b0) methinks. :-)

Me, I prefer to dismiss. Criticism gets consideration. Hyperbole just gets an eyeroll.
Though, wow...if Kara's Purple People Puppet upset this guy so much, I hope to Cheese-Its he never reads Robert Kirkman's take on it over in Brit. ;)

I was going to respond to this guy but then saw the two comments left by others and figured their views were keeping with mine.
I enjoyed it for the most part. Oliver has a nice style, I'm just not sure if I like it in a sequential format. Great character interplay and introduction to the team.
Fave bits:
Shaman leaving his body while still performing an open-heart surgery.
Aurora and Walter's banter
Accurate French!
Kara Killgrave
Giant purple people person
Anne Mackenzie aka Snowbird
Not so Fave bits
Colouring off on Heather's hair making her look more brunette then ginger.
Colours again off on her costume on the 3rd last page. Her left shoulder is shown white in 2 panels where it should be red. Also the intensities of red seems to change through out the comic.
Shaman didn't really do much
I'm very excited for what is in store for us.
Now can I have some Alpha Flight in the Marvel Super Hero Squad MMO please? :p
I'm very hyped to see so many positive reviews so far.

Podcast review at House to Astonish. (http://www.housetoastonish.com/?p=839) Generally positive, thought I disagreed on a couple of points.

didnt see this one in this thread:

i lost count, but i would have to say the positive is beating the negative reviews.
I think the worst I've seen is a 5/10, so compared to the drubbing volume 3 got review wise, that's a start.

And yet, that's what I gave it... as an Alpha comic, at least. http://www.alphaflight.net/../images/smilies/icon_redface.gif

The second time I tried to go from an Inbox notice about your messages to the thread attached to my review.

I've always suspected that...
Apparently, there've been problems, though, posting to that review.

Podcast review at House to Astonish. (http://www.housetoastonish.com/?p=839) Generally positive, thought I disagreed on a couple of points.
Starts at 55:55 (http://housetoastonish.podomatic.com/player/web/2011-05-21T07_49_49-07_00).
They ask if somebody's ever done issue Pi? I've always wanted that. The Numbers comics really should.
I've given an alternate link which goes straight to the podcast (the other you have to go to three different links to get it).
