So as I said in another thread, I finally filled MOST of the holes in my Alpha Flight Collection today when I found the Comic Book store I just started going to had a lot of the late v1 comics (I had 6 holes to fill, and got 5 filled). Well I grabbed issue #120 which I was missing. This was the 10 year anniversary edition. This contained a poster for the "Canadian Super Hero Registration"

So I got it for $2.00

But when I opened it. When I took it out of the case I noticed.....it wasn't opened. At all. Like, The poster is in the back and the original plastic cover with the advertisement is still on it, sealed.

Does anyone else have one of these that hasn't been opened, does anyone know if having an un-opened one is a BIG DEAL?

Unfortunately, both the sealed and opened comics have appx the same value, which is probably face value or less. My advice is to open this one and enjoy it, and when you come across another sealed copy, keep it for the collectible. They are fairly easy to come across and I'll keep my eyes open for an extra copy.

Sad day. Atleast it impressed my wife and she's not even into comics :-P

I think my favourite bit from Omega Flight was "We passed our Superhuman Registration Act years ago and the country didn't slip into chaos." :D

Reminds me... I recently dealt with an op shop that'd got a bunch of comics and didn't understand that they were valuable. One of the people there asked if they were valuable because they were 'still in their bags'?
You guessed it: they were ordinary issues in ordinary comic bags.

Oh, but there are no ordinary comics! Just average ones.

:) The bags were certainly ordinary!
