Should this film ever be made, i hope it doesn't turn out...typical to its modern-day genre. I'd like the fun, carefree attitude of the Captain Canuck comics to appear on the big screen, the dashing hero who works with his friends to keep Canada safe. Not "the dark knight of canada" or the "black-leather wearing mutant with lots of attitude from canada". And no splashy big explosions or car chases or super cgi villains.

I'm not Canadian, but I agree anyhow. I hate this trendy dark depressive BS and the fact that the movies led to so many artists abandoning super hero costumes all together.

I think serious points in a plot are needed to keep a super hero movie from being silly or boring, though. Nothing wrong with a bit of CGI or explosions when they are needed for an action sequence that furthers the plot. But we don't really need any more like the Wolverine movie, ether. Oh, and no playboy models cast for the female characters, thanks. lol
