NYCC '11 Meetup?

It's not too far away, so I thought I'd try and start to get the ball rolling on this.

Anyone going to NYCC next month?
Fancy a meet-up in the flesh, a chance to chat AF over a drink or two?

And of course, getting a lot of Volume's 1-4 signed!

When Phil says "a drink or two", he's being quite modest. We all know what he really means.

But anyway, yeah a meetup is a great idea. I'm in!

It is sort of a tough place to have a gathering... with all the crowds and hustling, but we ought to be able to think of a good spot. We can also do a meet-up at the very end of the convention hours, then move to a local restaurant/pub for drinks and hanging out, away from the massive crowds.

I'd announced that I'd be sending all the AF pages to Spencer at The Artist's Choice so he could have them for sale at NYCC. It's possible that I may not be able to send them all due to various administrative issues. Sadly, we won't be going this year. Dale just started saying a week or two ago that he would have been in the mood to go, but planning a trip at the last minute like this would be a bit of a nightmare -- plane, hotel, etc. I think we'll probably be there next year, though. :-)
