after doing the update, you may have noticed a few bugs. First of all was the quick reply was busted. I just fixed that. Please report any other bugs on this thread, and I'll fix it.

Did you update / fix the Alphanex Wiki? I tried to do some editing but got an error returned:

Your edit has been rejected because your client mangled the punctuation characters in the edit token. The edit has been rejected to prevent corruption of the page text. This sometimes happens when you are using a buggy web-based anonymous proxy service.

First time in a while (a few days at least) i've just gotten this message when on the site: "Threat Name: Exploit Blackhole Exploit Kit (type 2073)"

I'm thinking the problems may not be over yet...

Right; all on the main page of the site:

Left hand side, 'Recent Articles' section. These are appearing in a different order every refresh/view.
Before they were static in descending order and just the Article name, category, creation date & creator. No avatar or preview text.

Right hand side, 'Recent Forum Posts' section. Before these were headed by the name of the thread, now it's showing the first line of the individual post.

That's what it was doing pre-hacking, so I'm guessing it's just as before.

Oh well that's a relief. I mean, well, not so much because it's not working but at least it wasn't more brokenized.

I just did 4 separate scans of the site, all comes up clean...do you have any more details on that report FlightPath?

every time i open the website my antivirus says ( high risk website blocked - access as been blocked to "superbesttraf.orge.pl/iframe.php" as "mal/htmlgen-a" has been found at this website) probably not a good thing

Today, the carriage return isn't working. That means entire posts are now on one line. I imagine this one is an example (I've put this line two lines below the rest of the post). - LM

looks fine to me...in two different browsers....anyone else getting this?

An hour or two ago, the homepage was loading VERY S-L-O-W-L-Y, and was coming up as simple text only. Left it alone for a bit, now its fine again.

Well, if you guys can still read my posts just fine, I'll keep calm and carry on. They look weird to me, though. (This is the third paragraph in my Quick Reply window... I swear this whole post will be only one when I look at it later.) - Le Messor "Today's favours become tomorrow's obligations." ~ Matthew Cameron

ok, I see now. I misunderstood. I'll work on it.

I've been wondering what Ben's avatar is crushing in its fist. Clearly, it must be "bugs".

This is an experiment. It probably won't work. But I think it's worth a try. edit: it failed.

something broken in the WYSIWYG. Hope to get to the bottom of it soon.

Cool! You guys do great work... don't wanna keep complainin'.

Ben
04-04-2012, 07:39 AM
it's not complaining! If no one told us of problems, then we might not notice for a while! We appreciate it.

Is anybody else experiencing the Quick Reply box that you type in being all yelllow background? is ti supposed ot be that way? Mine is, until I hit Posat and then the box goes white again. Just wondering.

Alos, currently in the Quick Reply box I am typing in right now, my cursor is not blinking. Furthermore, i can't move my cursor to anywhere else in the line but where it is stuck, righr at the end. Weirdness. Oh wait, now it sort fo works, at least the Backspace Key now works, which it did not do even that before.

Lots of little bugs. Bugs bugs bugs, squish 'em all under Bens' feet...

Ben - glad you don't consider it complaining. FP - The QR turns yellow when I start typing in it, but I consider that a feature. It tells me it's ready for input. Sometimes my cursor disappears and does weird things... but that's hardly confined to this forum or anything. Also, sometimes I find when I try moving my arrow around the screen, my parents' cat starts chasing it - but that only happens when he's at my place, which he's not right now. :( - Le Messor "If there is no wind, row."

Excellent.
Unless this didn't work...

Edit: But it did! Soon my plans will be complete!

Never mind, that bug just fixed itself.

Good, I didn't want to "fix" that one!

"my parents' cat starts chasing it - but that only happens when he's at my place, which he's not right now."

Is your cat named Kitty Pryde, by chance?

:) Not like that!

No... My parents wouldn't name him that.
He's named Titian, after the painter.

My daughter has two cats (at her Mom's house) named Quicksilver and Polaris.

Quicksilver is a perfect name for a cat! My parents's is sitting on my shoulder right now.

She smiled at that comment. My daughter, not her cat.

It looks like the 'Reply With Quote' bug is gone, too. Thanks Ben!

This seems like a good place to ask, but - this is not a bug! Yay!

Is there a way to do strikethrough text here? If so, how?

- LM

Yes, there is a way to do strikethrough text.

enclose the text with [ s ] and close with [ /s ] without the spaces

Ben, I can't upload an image for the button so please add that to the GUI toolbar.

There is, and I see you have used it already! :)

(I just edited that post. It's the one that prompted the question.)

If you had tried it before without success, it's because I just added it. You aren't crazy.
