Hi all,

Just wanted to highlight some social media tools that we've had since the upgrade.

At the top of every article is a Tweet/Facebook Like button. If any of you use these social networking tools they're an invaluable way for us to get the word out about the site and the things we do and it really is a plus to us if we get hits from these.

Obviously feel free not to, I know people may not want to mix their interests with work/family/friends etc but if you don't mind, the occasionally link is always a bonus to us.

If you're on twitter, the site's username is @AlphaFlight_net and the occasional retweet there always helps too. (Myself, Rob & Del are on there too if you're really interested)
If you're on here and twitter let me know your username and we'll follow you back!

As I say, no pressure, and don't feel you have to flood your personal sites with our babble but the options available to you if you occasionally wish to!

Not seeing a tweet button, just the Like button

Not on forum posts, but on Articles.
There should be a share bar...?

Yeah but I don't know what lockerz.com is and don't want to click on any of those things. Not sure what it will do with my passwords.

Then simply don't click the lockerz link!

But no worries, it was just a thought.
You can just retweet any of the ones I put out if you feel like it

Honestly I'd rather have no little link to facebook or any of the social media sites if it's going through lockerz at all. It's deceptive to promote the link as a safe thing for users to click on without disclosing first that their facebook or twitter password is being collected by a third party.

Eh?

Im lost here.
The Lockerz link is one of many you CAN click on.
If you don't want to click it you don't have to.

You can choose only to click on the Facebook or twitter link, which simply redirect you straight to the actual Facebook or twitter site.
There's no third party and your password isn't entered anywhere else or saved/collected.
There's no deception.

But like I say, it's an optional thing, don't stress about it.
