Paul Ware over at http://www.nakedfairypress.co.uk/ has been publishing Past Perfect, an amateur fanzine and has been reviewing Byrne's Alpha Flight run. I was able to get my hands on a few of the issues and I'm happy to recommend them to my fellow Alpha Flight fans. They are available through his website or on ebay for £2 each, and yes he ships international.

Here's the cover of issue #46. Look in the lower right! So far he's covered the Byrne issues #1-7 in the issues #46 - #52 of Past Perfect and intends to continue through Alpha Flight #28. I'm enjoying these reviews and happy to support one of the last remaining published fanzines and certainly the only one currently with Alpha Flight in every issue!

Cool!
Are they generally positive reviews?

Yes, they are generally positive, and interesting to read because they are a look from 30 years into the future (now) on the characters... for example Heather would go on to become Alpha Flight's leader and a very powerful woman, yet in issue #1 she was just Mac's wife. Paul notes this eventual transition in his review for issue #1, a perspective impossible to take at the time of publication.
