The site is self-explanatory but for those of you not aware:

http://robot6.comicbookresources.com/2012/06/indy-artists-reinvent-official-handbook-of-the-marvel-universe/

An illustration from Vindicator's entry from the Official Handbook Deluxe Edition #14 has been reduxed!

http://ohotmuredux.blogspot.com/2012/07/vindicator-by-tony-esteves.html

I like the two-tone and like the visible eyes through the goggles too. The maple leaf on the cowl is a bit too "Captain Canuck" and he lost the flag thing on her torso, but still it's a great illustration.

Not bad. Although the Maple Leaf on the headpiece looks good, the one on the suit is looking more and more like just a bunch of red points in the new artwork.

I kinda like it, but Captain Canuck isn't much of a thing in my mind.

I'd just like to say, that as a Canadian I could easily become agitated over that statement. Politely agitated, mind you, perhaps discussed with you over a plate of back bacon smothered in maple syrup and a Tim Horton's coffee. Why, to say that Captain Canuck is not on your mind, would be similar to me saying to you that I don't think about Australian icon...uh, what's his name...wait, let me come up with it...

...no, don't help me...I'll remember...

...still thinking...

...

...Ah, yes! it would be like me telling you that i do not think about Australia's Bug Man very much!

There! How do you like that, sir!

Gah! You wound me, sir.
You take that back while I go find out who Bug Man is!

They're definitely... of a style.

That reinvention of Heather's outfit is awful, IMHO. From the badly rendered torso maple leaf to the black tights...blech!

Like the Constrictor revamp (simplified)---and Spymaster...I've thought Spymaster could be a good adversary for Alpha Flight for a while!

The maple leaf/helmet-goggles are the only things I like about the Vindicator redesign.

I don't get that part either.

Yeah that's an awesome rendition of the Master, he is actually one of my favorite villians so I may be biased

That new rendition makes the original (OHOTMU original!) look boring.

Why is he carrying jars of mustard? Is he on his way to pick up some hot-dogs?

I think he's carrying a six-pack. Of beer.

But the question should be, "Why is he carrying a wrench?" What does Madison Jeffries need with a wrench?

What does Madison Jeffries need with a wrench?

It makes a handy weapon. For the villains he faces. They take it from him, and pop him on the head with it, thus rendering him unconscious.

Waffles on his feet, clearly was at a Leafs game before the pic was taken.

I like the digital watch on his arm; looks like one of the ones with a calculator built in.

Yup, good eye there, Flightpath07. Still made by Casio (http://www.casio.com/products/Watches/Databank/?SectionProductSort=1). But of course, MadJeff made his own calculator watch out of a broken iPhone.
