Fans of Age of Apocalypse and Astonishing X-Men should love this news

Maybe David Lapham could bring back AoA Northstar (and maybe AoA Aurora). One can wish.

Hmm. I wish it. But they're all dead. The only living AF member in the AoA universe is Purple Woman (Kara Killgrave). Box, Northstar, Aurora, Wild Child, all gone. But I'm definitely on top of the X-Termination event, seeing as how Northstar is bound to be included and I love me all things AoA... and I've been loving the X-treme X-Men series. It's the three X-books I get every month all wrapped up in one. Nice!

Love,

By the end of it, the repercussions of "X-Termination" are long-lasting and will stretch across the Marvel Universe.

Doesn't Marvel say something similar, like, every month?

Sad, but true. Very true.

So basically it's the struggling X-titles bonding together for one last push before cancellation... I'm down for that.
Still hoping for AoA versions of the Hudsons and Sasquatch... although maybe we'll get an AoA Kyle with this crossover?

I've read every issue of Age of Apocalypse so far but I've only read the first issue of X-Treme X-Men.
I see Hercules at the bottom of the ifanboy (http://ifanboy.com/articles/interview-greg-pak-on-x-termination/) interview. When did Herc join the team? I may have to pick up this book now.

Herc hasn't joined yet. That's an image from issue #12. Pick up the rest of X-treme X-Men if you liked the Exiles. It's got the same feel... except Pak's a far less gut-wrenching than Judd Winick.

Loved Judd Winick's Exiles and his version of Heather Hudson/Sasquatch. Also loved Jeff Parker's very short lived volume.
Looks like I'll buy the point one issue this week and give X-Treme X-Men another try.

OK. I bought X-Treme X-Men 7.1 and this was a fun done in one issue. Go team Dazzler! Looking forward to issue 8 next week!

Yah, saw the Brood on the cover and I was all, "I have to email Chris!" But you already picked up your Brood fix, nice!

I actually got 2 fixes of the Brood! In last month's A+X 2 we get to see Kitty Pryde, Lockheed, and Iron Man fight the Brood.

Yeah, X-Treme X-Men 7.1 was awesome. It brought back many memories of the Brood stories by Claremont, Dave Cockrum, and Paul Smith. And also the Australian Outback X-Men when Dazzler and the gang fought the Brood (or was it Brood mutants?) in Uncanny X-men 232 - 234.
