I had bid on that particular item but didn't win it... so I'm doing my own version but with a Thor Destroyer figure.

It feels unreal looking at a BOX figure. Almost like it's too good to be true.

Check out http://alphaflight.net/content.php?590-NY-Toyfair-2012-Diamond-Select-Box-Vindicator then. Not quite a figure, but the best there is officially.

Yeah, I've been wanting them! :D Are they available yet? (I'll have to check toy stores if so.)

They were out last October but were a Toys R Us exclusive in the States.
I had to get mine imported in.

glenn webb reviews the Puck build a figure.

Wait, is that available now?
I just ordered my Minimates this morning (yes, nearly a full week after I'd planned to)... Now I've got to track those down somehow.

I like the review. I noticed the head being too small just before the vid mentioned it; I also thought the P was wrong; the loop was too short, and the stem very stretched, and the whole thing too thin. (Don't think of that as a whinge, please; just a detail I noticed. I don't care about it! I just observed it.)

It is, still a good sculpt.

I also liked the reviewer imitating Cyclops by use of a banana.

In the comment section, he reveals that he obtained them 'early' by picking them up off ebay from HK.

They aren't out yet in the US.

That's usually a good thing. A quick check on eBay shows only Emma Frost available, which he also reviewed. But more will surface over the next few days.

I'm still wondering how they make a BAF (build a figure) out of 4 parts - one is the torso as you can see from the Emma Frost package up for sale on ebay.... so , does that mean the other 3 are (2 legs) (2 arms) (head) and how awesome will just a little Puck head look in the blister pak!??!

Le Messor
08-31-2013, 06:09 PM
:) I had hoped the review would show him putting it together.
I did notice he only showed three of the actual figures with the BaF.

(Oh, and those earlier big ones look awesome next to Puck!)

Also, that means I'll only have to buy three. This pleases me. (I had thought four.)

Is the Rogue figure canceled or still being released?

Phil
09-01-2013, 06:21 PM
Rogue & Emma Frost are interchangeable ala the packaging here (http://alphaflight.net/showthread.php?8589-Article-Toyfair-2013-Wolverine-Legends-with-Build-A-Figure-Puck&p=91770&viewfull=1#post91770) so you can get Puck's torso & head with Rogue instead of Emma if you want. Which I'm guessing you do ;)

rplass

Right but are they releasing both the Emma and Rogue figures?

Phil
09-01-2013, 06:57 PM
Yes, but with the same packaging as 'Manipulators Of Memory'

I'm not 100% up on Rogue's powers, but her basic power set doesn't include memory manipulation, does it? Maybe they are assuming if she spends some time in the Emma Frost packaging that she'll pick up the Emma Frost powers? :)

There are SO many ways I could run with this, but in an effort to keep this G-Rated, I won't.

Her basic set? Technically, no... but she does take memories along with powers, so I think they can have this one. At a stretch.
