Here's a great Kickstarter project I came across and supported yesterday. If you're into all things Canadian, then you won't want to miss this.

I grabbed the Hardcover Edition.

I supported the project as well! Mostly because I want them to continue and get the Penguin comics reprinted. But mostly because it's just such a kick-ass idea!

I ordered the Nelvana softcover. All the numbered hardcovers were already gone.

Nice! I'm really looking forward to it. What a great idea.

"Canada's First Superheroine" - this made me just think of the new poster I recently ordered and received, it is now hanging on my bedroom wall - the cover to The. Incredible Hulk # 181. The cover/poster states that Wolverine is "the world's first and greatest Canadian super hero". Neither of which is true (any longer). He isn't the oldest, as Department H was running heroes back far enough that Wolverine never even met them, and a man who dedicates himself to his country (not runs away from it) and wraps himself in the nations' flag would CLEARLY be the choice for greatest Canadian hero. Sorry Wolvie, but Jamie's got it all over you!

I just received the Nelvana colour comic book in the mail today. Did anyone else who funded the Kickstarter project get theirs yet?
