Guess that guy isn't a fan of Alpha Flight and btw who is "Jason"---I'm assuming he is refering to Chasen.

Yeah, dude forced me to add a comment, something i don't like doing. Couldn't help it, his attitude about Flight was bad, as was his knowledge (or lack thereof).

Yeah, he was really down on AF. He admitted in the article to having trouble in the past with a woman named Hudson - maybe that's the reason?

Well, if one is going on their representation in the cartoon alone and not the original comic stories it was based on... yeah... it's pretty bad. I watched the cartoon religiously as a kid and they made AF seem so weird and lame that I probably never would have checked them out had it not been for Wildchild in X-Factor, regardless of how bad parts of that was. Hell, even then I had a hard time getting past not liking the original team at first because of my bias based on the cartoon. Well, I still don't like Mac, tbh. lol 'Wolverine, why did you leeeeaaaave uuuuuuus!!! I'm a really good person damn it! Now bend to my will and serve Canada because I beat you up and hurt your friends!' Guy was a douche from the get go, wish Heather were still leader and Mac dead again. :/

Why DID Wolverine bail on alpha flight?

It's also because he couldn't handle being in love with Heather.

Um? Canon, or opinion? I'd tend to agree with you, but i can't think of anyplace that has been written clearly and accepted by other writers as fact, off-hand.

I think it showed up in flashback in an issue of AF. Later on it was on a quiz on the back of an issue of... Marvel Age...? The question was which redhead Logan fell in love with first, multiple choice. Heather was the correct answer (this was before Rose was written, obviously).

There have been a few retconned explanations if I remember correctly; Wolverine Origins had one in the Original Sin storyline.

I don't remember what that one was?
(I have the series in question, just don't remember the explanation given.)

Anything to do with his relationship to Mac?

That's an interesting link, Mik. Haven't ever heard of the marveldirectory before.

Neither have I... It's just something I found on a Googling Wolverine loves Heather Hudson.
