A discussion about a 7-second release of a teaser for X-Men Days Of Future Past movie.

There's not really any spoilers here, as everybody is mystified by the few images they see...i don't think anybody knows what is really going on in the images, but everybody is guessing.

I saw the trailer when I went to Sydney the other day to watch Thor 2. Not at the movie... that was a coincidence.

It looks intriguing. And was longer than 7 seconds.

And the third new X-Men movie is slated for 2016 release; X-Men- Apocalypse.

Hm... Apocalypse? Meh.

Not saying it won't be a good movie, but I don't like that character.

Yeah, I was hoping for Paste Pot Pete.

Yeah, I was hoping for Paste Pot Pete.

I'm voting for him in the next FF movie.

I'm voting for him in the next FF movie.

And I am voting for Tomazooma, the Living Totem, for the big baddie in the next FF movie.

The big question is, WHO is IN the Fantastic Four, in their next movie? Captain America is a given, but who are the other three gonna be?

It won't be Chris Evans.
It's a total reboot supposedly.

Yeah Fox owns the rights to Fantastic Four, Daredevil and X-Men, so you won't see the Avengers or any other Marvel Studios Project characters. FF will be a reboot, I disliked the first two anyways so I'm ok with that

I'm guessing FP meant Evans as Johnny Storm rather than Cap himself.
That role's reportedly gone to Michael B. Jordan though.

Michael B?

I swear, I'm not playing the Torch in the next movie! At least, my agent hasn't told me if I am.

Wait, what am I doing with an agent?

Spot on, Phil!

I actually didn't even realize there was going to be a new FF film. Personally, I much preferred the original FF film, http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0109770/?ref_=nv_sr_3 .

Wait, what am I doing with an agent?

Paying him/her too much money, I'd say!

You don't hear that a lot...

Well, if you could see my pull-list of monthly comics, you'd know i support the little guy. Same is true of my DVD collection. I'd rather watch an entertaining (to me) C-movie than most of what the 'experts' call A-list blockbusters.

I'd also bring stray animals home, if I was allowed to.

It's just my nature, I guess; how I am hard-wired.

Just because the original (and mainly unreleased) FF was made on a shoestring budget and lacked much in special effects, doesn't make it an inferior movie. I thought the characters were believable, the story was great, the acting 'good enough for my tastes', and it entertained me, so I like it.

I wasn't disagreeing. I have seen that movie, and felt it had a lot more heart to it than the new version.
And without bad FX but good story, where would Doctor Who and Star Trek be?

Oh no, we weren't disagreeing at all, I recognize that! I was just offering further explanation for my likes, is all.
