I greatly disliked what they did with Deadpool in the Wolverine movie....if they ignore that, then I'm in

Agreed. Or at least, tell us that was a clone of him and not the real Wade Wilson.

To be fair, tho, I like what they did to him, up until the end part; sewing his mouth shut may have been meant to be funny, but wasn't at all, while the blades on the ends of his arms was overkill in the extreme.

I'm just happy that Ryan is still on-board, as last i had heard about this movie was that it was reputed that Mr. Reynolds had said "no thanks" to being part of any future Deadpool film. It seems that was an error in reporting by...whomever reported it...

Deadpool is getting pretty popular. They'd be stupid not to make a Movie.

The Wolverine and X-Men franchises need to start over completely and re-cast some characters while they are at it (I'm looking at YOU, Hally Berry), on the other hand. I hope they get it through their thick skulls that people do go to super hero movies to see super heroes. Give them their damn costumes back and be true to the comics! Well, be true to the Silver age comics for all but Deadpool, I guess? XD I was pretty shocked to find that Wolverine's bad fanfiction of a movie was actually based in part on a ****ty comic series. James Howlet? Ugh. I don't know you anymore, Wolvie.

ES, they did re-start the X-Men movie franchise already. X-Men Days Of Future Past will be the 2nd movie of the new franchise.

Well...as long as you don't expect them to follow anything that happened in the first movie trilogy, nor do you expect them to be following how things went in the comics books...I think you might enjoy First Class. Its a completely different re-take on all things X-Men. I found it to be a very compelling story, well -written, well-acted, a cut above your average superhero story.

I think I'll enjoy it then. My issue with cape movies is that you should ether do something in the spirit of the books but completely diverging story wise, or else completely commit to your source material... no in between. I would love to see the classic Silver Age X-Men members in movies, but not the way they were being represented in that first god awful trilogy. I do hope they give that another shot once the first trilogy is long forgotten.
